Editshots

Editshots: Girl in Black is a set of video clips to edit on Mac, PC or mobile. It's a hands-on way to learn - or teach - about filmmaking without using a camera. There are 55 separate shots with different shot sizes, camera positions, lenses and movements. Each clip has a caption (e.g. Extreme Long Shot, Tracking Shot).

The package includes a 36-page, iPad-friendly PDF that takes you step by step through building the movie, covering shot size and selection, camera position and movement, shot-reverse shot, the 180 degree rule and more.

On mobile devices, you'll need to download the resource to a Mac or PC first, then copy it to your phone or tablet .

Editshots is now 'Pay What You Want' (minimum $1). It's based on miniDV camcorder footage, upscaled to 720p HD. For higher quality footage, please choose my other editing package EditClass.
